the italian leg of the tour is over and we are back in germany, munich to be exact, sonnenstrasse to be more exact.
we’re staying in a big youth hostel, like a prison only less luxurious.
the lady on reception is nice but fond of swearing, “why you wanna play f**king table tennis?” no answer to that question.
last nights gig was in bologna, i became jolly afterwards, met a couple of boys who said far too many nice things to me.
i had to be a bastard in return,
as usual some people came to our hotel, tom and will had a fight on the floor.
i remained calm, cleaned the place up and tried to stay out of the mix. spoke to some people, they could speak many languages, this is endlessly impressive to us.
crawled out of bed at the hotel savoia, had a dream like breakfast, that afternoon verona was where we set our scene. a day off.
the square was humble yet magnificent not overly grandiose, the buildings were of varying height, four and five stories, coloured in dark green orange blue.
confetti covered the cobbles.
had some details which i noticed: the pigeon at barbarani’s feet, a bone hanging from an arch, we had ice cream, uno gusto por favore.
we also walked in the amphitheatre rubbed against the ancient stones, let it drip on us, it was a fine blue day, with all the euphoria’s of a hangover.
the town was busy, the children were in fancy dress, everyone wore sunglasses.
we had a long drive ahead to munich, through austria i moaned and dozed, read a couple of pages of genets brutes.
in bologna i walked to the town with tom and will, i’ve not much to say of it only i was tired wet with painful feet, there was a market full of international junk. i bought nothing.
our man eric took us to la perla, where we had delicious food and discussed the origin and destiny of human life. staigoli del buongustaio. ciao

I know that what I’m talking has nothing to do with doing comments about “A few words from Stephen on the road… ”

Anyway, I almost lost my mind when I readed that rhys and tom`s mother it’s brazilian, I mean it.
Calm down, I’m not going to chase your mother like psycho even wishing this so much(kidding)
It’s just that I’m really fan of your music and what it conveys, and if you could answer this comment by sending an eMail to me , I know that’s asking too much , when your guys it’s on tour, but will be the best birth present I’ll ever get ( date: next week). but anyway, even if you read this comment I’ll die happy.
I hope that you guys, someday , come to brasil for a show, one thing I promiss you, is that I’ll be there whatever happens, ’cause it’s the smallest thing I can do in return , because your music makes me fell like that’s no tomorrow, and that’s the most superficial thing I could describe in words of what your music it’s doing to my soul.
